This episode was recorded live at The Clubhouse in Salt Lake City, UT, on December 19, 2023. A freezing fog settled over my neighborhood a couple of nights ago, and I couldn’t resist going out in it. As I wandered, I began to think about icy coatings, why we might have them, and what they are protecting. I also thought about what might come at us out of the fog. I wrote this poem the next morning, and it can be found on my website, terrytischmak.com . I think it will surprise you. You will hear the voice of the host, Azul, at the beginning and the end.
