Take The Red Pill
Once you know the truth, you can never go back. Can you envision Zion, Heaven on Earth? Can you see what it looks like? What it feels like? Is there an image, a feeling, a knowing, that you carry always in your heart, of the promised land? Have you been seeking it every day of your life, catching glimpses of it occasionally, hearing a song, or a speech that touches upon it, and strikes a chord in your heart that lights you up, and thrills you like you’ve been struck by lightening? Do you follow the threads, hoping to find substance, opening the door for possibility, but finding the way blocked, or the room empty, as though it were waiting for a moment, a motion, that hasn’t happened yet? Do you open that door, hoping for revelation, but, instead, finding only deception? Trickery? Another con-man? Have you once again walked into a trap, and found, not a truth-teller, but a thief, wanting to take whatever you have for themselves? Do you return to your life, your daily struggle for survival, with an even stronger sense that you are living inside a prison that you can’t define? A prison that surrounds you, contains you, and consumes you? Consumes your life, your attention, and your dreams? Do you have a deep knowing that you are a slave within this prison, but you cannot wrap your mind, or your arms, around the context of your slavery, cannot see the shape of it, and cannot envision a way out? Do you know, deep inside you, that there is something terribly wrong in the world, in the way you are living, and the way everyone else is living? Do you dream of being free, of everyone being free, but feel that there is no way to overcome the power that keeps you enslaved and imprisoned? No way that you can match the wealth that controls the course of events?
You are not alone. Far from it, your are feeling the shared pain of all of Humanity. You are suffering, and the suffering will last for the rest of your life, unless you step out of your prison, and set yourself free. But, how can you end suffering that is so widespread, that surrounds you, and has been your reality since the day you were born? What are the steps to freedom? The answer begins with you making a single choice within yourself, a decision that will change your life forever. You must choose to be free, and to stop being a slave! You are a slave only because you see yourself as a slave. You are trapped in your prison only because you believe that you require it for your survival! You were born into slavery, and so were your parents, and their parents, and their parents, and none of them could see a way to free themselves, or their families, from slavery. Each of them did their best to follow the path that was offered to them, the path that everyone believed would lead to freedom. They worked hard, and then harder, trying to make more money, hoping against hope that , through their sacrifice, they could somehow lift their loved ones out of the suffering, out of their prison, and into a better life. What they believed is a lie. The truth of their actions, the result of their sacrifice, was to make their prison stronger. Working harder on building your prison only makes a better prison, and increases your children’s dependence on the prison. They are being taught, by your example, that the best way to show your love for someone is by being a very good slave! That is not the path to freedom! That is a trick that has been played on us, a lie that ensures that we will pass slavery from generation to generation. Learning to become a better slave does not bring freedom, it empowers our slavery! We cannot offer to someone else what we ourselves do not posses. To offer freedom to anyone else, we must first, ourselves, be free. Slavery itself is a lie. Slavery only exists because we create it for ourselves, or impose it on others. But, if slavery is a lie, then what is truth? What is our natural state of being, and the Truth that is being hidden by the Lie? The truth is that each of us is our own master, and that we are responsible for every one of our choices, and their consequences, including the choice to live as a slave! What we believe about ourselves, and about life, is what shapes our reality, and how we live in it. Our beliefs are nothing more than the guidance system that we create as we go through life, choosing bits we think will help us to survive, to stay out of trouble, and to fit in with the crowd. Beliefs are choices, we are not born with them. We are free to change our beliefs at any time. Will you continue believing that you are trapped in slavery, or will you recognize it to be a lie, or discard it in favor of the deeper Truth that you are, and always have been, free. That you are a sovereign individual, and so is everyone else. That the responsibility for your choices is yours, and yours alone, as well as the consequences that come with them. That to be free, you must first choose freedom for yourself, and then accept responsibility for living the consequences of that choice! Freedom will not be handed to you. You must create it for yourself, and live it without apology, or compromise. Do not expect your freedom to look like anyone else’s. Do not compare yourself to anyone else. Do not judge the speed of your progress. Do not allow yourself any regrets for having chosen freedom, for there is no going back once you begin the process of becoming sovereign. You must leave your old life behind completely, though you may need to use some of it as stepping stones on your way out. The guidance you will need to take the steps of this journey cannot be found in what you are leaving behind, for it is composed of lies, and you are now seeking Truth. The journey must begin within you, in the starting place for everything that you are, and that is at your very center. The core deep within you that holds the Truth of your Being. You are building something new, a temple of life that you will live in, and you must begin with a solid foundation, one that will hold a temple that is worthy of you, and your efforts, without faltering, without crumbling, and sustain it for as long as you need it to. The beginnings, the foundation, of your sacred temple, lie within your heart, in the deep knowing of yourself, and of the Truth of creation. Seek it, and you will find it, though it may be buried beneath many layers of lies and illusion that you have come to believe about yourself, about the truth of life, and about what you are deserving of. Know that who you think you are has nothing to do with who you really are. Know that life is intended to offer adventure, not suffering, and know that you are not only deserving of the best that life has to offer, but it is your birthright! Make the choice, and make it so. Begin.
