Meet Your Inner Demons
March 25, 2024-
– Change is happening. It is upon us. Find yourself solid ground to stand upon, so that you may weather the approaching storm without losing your footing.
Begin the work where it must begin, inside of you. Don’t try to fix anyone else, don’t try to save the world, start with you. Do whatever it takes to conquer your personal demons, and get yourself on solid footing emotionally, physically, and spiritually. Check in with how you are feeling about yourself, and be honest with your answer, because this lies at the root of your demons, and what is powering them.
What are your inner demons? They are whatever emotions, traumas, and misguided beliefs are stuck inside of you because you haven’t found a way to process them yet.
Your subconscious is holding these, because your subconscious holds everything, and you create a story around them. If you feel stupid, you will project that onto everything, and everyone, around you, and your choices and actions will be misguided, because you will be dealing with the illusion, the fiction, the story that you have created around feeling stupid, instead of dealing with the reality of your truth, which is that you are perfectly bright and capable.
If you feel worthless, you will project that story onto everything around you, and you will see nothing else. If you feel incompetent, you will project that. If you feel powerless, you will project that. If you feel afraid, you will project that. If you feel stuck, you will project that. If you feel overwhelmed, you will project that. Whatever emotion is stuck inside of you, whatever belief is controlling you, will ooze out of you through your subconscious, and color your world, creating more of itself, until you can see it, until you can recognize that it is within you.
Only then can you see the true source of your suffering, your misery, and go looking for it in the place that it can actually be found, which is inside the story that is swirling around in your head!
Only then can you heal your wounds, because when you stop looking for someone else to blame, when you stop looking for attackers, when you stop playing the victim, that’s when you can become the one in charge of your own life. You can accept responsibility for your suffering, and start creating stability and well-being, instead. You can stop waiting for someone else to fix you, and also stop trying to fix everyone else, because you’ll stop projecting your feelings of being broken onto everyone else you meet.
This is life’s way of showing us what we don’t want to look at. Through our subconscious, we turn our world, the reality that we experience, into a mirror that reflects back to us what we carry, but have buried so deep that we can’t see it. We deny its existence until we force ourselves to stop running, to turn around, and to look at your pain. To own it. And to FEEL it, because that’s what you’ve been running from. Your inner demons won’t go away until you face them, own them, and process the trauma that you have hidden behind them.
