Feel The Fear, And Go Further Anyway!
– In finding our way through life, and through the ever unfolding process of growth, awakening, and spiritual ascension, the pathway lies through mastery of the self, and attunement and mastery of our vessel as we strengthen and come to feel at-home in our natural state of being. Each lifetime in the physical brings us a new set of circumstances, a new mix of ancestral lineages, a new set of challenges, a new set of goals, and a new set of gifts which have been provided to help us meet our challenges and attain our goals. We are given everything we need to find success in life, but we must each find it on our own, it will not be handed to us.
-Finding our way through the murky darkness and the shifting emotional tides of this physical realm lies at the very heart of what we came here to experience! We are sovereign beings, and our free will is bent on fully discovering who we are, and what we brought with us this trip! Imagine that the body you are wearing, and the circumstances of your life, make up a very complex instrument, but you have forgotten what it is, and how to play it. Add to this the knowing that you helped design it all, you agreed to it ahead of time, and it is perfect for you.
-Learning to “play” this complex instrument of your body, in this life, is the process of self-mastery. Since you are living inside your instrument, there is no substitute for learning to “play” it on your own, no one else can do it for you. It is a bit like learning to play all the instruments of a one-person-band, while you are riding a surfboard, with a set of wings attached to your back. It sounds pretty challenging, but don’t worry, you can do it! Stay focused, hold confidence in yourself, and do not allow anyone, or anything, to shake that confidence, or take it away. Know that you have done this before, many times. This is not your first rodeo! Nor will it be your last. Know that you came here as a master, and that is true no matter what you may think or feel about yourself that might lead you to believe anything different.
-You are, without a doubt, a master, and you came into this life looking for opportunities to learn, and grow, and discover more about yourself. This can only be done through experiencing new and different things, people, places, events, ideas, whatever may be new to you, but you must experience them as your true self in order for this to be true discovery! Whatever you experience as your false, ego self is nothing more than living through a moment of pretend, where you are not fully engaged in the experience, you are not invested with anything meaningful to you, and there are no consequences for either good or bad! When you are pretending, you are in a place of complete safety, you are definitely inside the boundaries of what you already know, so there is no possibility for learning or discovery, there is only the game of rearranging what you have in your closet already! That is not growth, that is housecleaning!
-Housecleaning is a necessary part of life, but it is not growth! Growth only happens, is only possible, at the point that we go further out on a limb than we’ve ever been before, when we reach that point where we feel the clutching of fear inside us, accompanied by the feeling that things could go terribly wrong if we go further, and going further anyway! When we are risking something…… when we are exposing a part of ourselves that we have never shown to anyone else, That is when we are in the territory of what is “new”, and that is the only way that we can truly discover more about ourselves. We must test ourselves in a place that we are untested. That is one of the core mysteries hidden within life, and that is what drives us to continually test ourselves. That is why we do not feel satisfied living life completely in safety, within “reasonable” boundaries, living a life where we are untested.
–We each came here with a purpose, a reason for being, and this lives at our core. It glows like a white-hot beacon that we cannot ignore, and we are pulled to it every moment of every day of our lives, but life is not intended for us to simply walk up to it, pick it up, and walk home with our purpose in our pocket. Where would be the challenge?
